A healthcare organization in Trowbridge is looking for a School health support worker to join their team and support the Healthy Child Programme. The role involves conducting health checks for children and delivering engaging health promotion activities. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well in teams. This is a term-time only position with a salary of £24,486 - £26,115.50 pro rata and comes with various benefits including a pension and access to health and well-being resources.
As a School health support worker you'll be working closely with our friendly and dedicated School Nurses, following our policies and procedures, to help deliver the Healthy Child Programme (519). Together, we well support schools, families, and children/young people, helping them to grow, learn, and thrive.
As part of Wiltshire Children's Community Services, you'll work both within our team and across partner organisations, building positive relationships and making a real difference in the community.
