Job Description:

Note: This post is part-time during term time. Your salary will be prorated based on hours and weeks worked. If you start with the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay, as you are not entitled to pay for all holidays. Once adjusted, you will receive a 12th of your annual salary thereafter. An email from payroll will inform you of deductions before your first pay. If you start on the first day of term, this adjustment does not apply.

The role involves managing the provision of efficient, effective, and flexible administrative support by managing the School Assistant and working as part of the wider school team. You will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, handling enquiries from colleagues and the public regarding School Council services, and resolving escalated service requests within agreed timescales. You will provide support services demonstrating initiative, judgment, confidentiality, and responsibility. Additionally, you will work with the School Management Team on school diary events and projects that may impact procedures and practices across the Council.
