The Opportunity

We\'re looking for a highly motivated Scaffolding Contract Manager to lead a team of Project Managers and oversee multiple scaffolding projects across Scotland.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of Project Managers to deliver scaffolding projects safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
  • Oversee the planning of materials, labour, and transport in alignment with client programmes.
  • Tackle project challenges head-on with practical solutions and confident decision-making.
  • Maintain close communication with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Deliver regular performance updates and reports to the Head of Operations.
  • Lead by example—prioritising safety, professionalism, and quality at all times.
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures, including health and safety standards.
  • Oversee preparation of key project documentation: RAMS, designs, material lists, price breakdowns, etc.
  • Review and report on month-end project performance, celebrating wins and identifying learning opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years\' experience in scaffolding or construction management.
  • Valid CISRS Scaffolder Card and SSSTS certification.
  • Deep knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and safe erection/dismantling practices.
  • A proven track record of managing teams and delivering successful projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Clear and confident communicator—written and verbal.
  • UK driving licence essential.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Outlook, Excel, and project management tools (training provided).
