Overview

Role: Sales Team Manager

Location: Leeds

Salary: up to £33,000 dependent on experience.

Hours: Mon-Fri office hours with occasional Saturdays

Are you an experienced travel sales team leader or assistant/branch manager ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a confident and driven Sales Team Manager to lead a growing team at a busy and friendly Leeds-based travel agency and call centre.

Your role as a Sales Team Manager
  • Lead and motivate a small sales team across multiple channels (calls, web, social media, group bookings)
  • Mentor and coach team members to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Oversee admin operations (invoicing, ticketing, customer service)
  • Support local marketing efforts - leaflets, events, community outreach
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on retention and growth strategies
  • Use your travel expertise to deliver a personalised, high-quality customer experience
  • Report directly to the General Manager with regular updates and performance reports
Experience required as a Sales Team Manager
  • Proven experience in travel sales, ideally in a leadership role
  • Target-driven with strong coaching and team management skills
  • Detail-oriented and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident using booking/reservation systems and general PC tools
  • A proactive attitude and fresh ideas to keep us competitive and growing

This is a full-time position with working hours from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or Saturday shifts and the flexibility to work from home when needed. Salary up to £33,000 dependent on experience.
