Overview

Join Vodafone. We’re shaping the future of connectivity and creating a sustainable and more inclusive world. This is a 12-month project-based role within the Group Products & Services (P&S) portfolio across the UK, VBI, and the EU Cluster.

What you’ll do
  • Drive Commercial Trading Performance in Markets: Lead monthly sales performance forecasting and present results at monthly interlock meetings with Market and Group SLTs.
  • Support Detailed Budget (DB) execution by reviewing and constructively challenging commercial plans.
  • Build Strategic Relationships Across Group & Markets: Influence senior stakeholders, including Directors, to drive initiatives that meet DB targets and deliver year-over-year growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across global OpCos, navigating complex decisions and trade-offs.
  • Be a Market Evangelist: Share and implement best practices across products and markets.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for markets—collecting and representing local insights and needs to inform Group strategy and drive success.
  • Engage: demonstrate a track record in building and developing strong internal relationships, influencing at senior levels, and managing complex stakeholder relations.
  • Drive: lead on the execution of targets and plans, provide virtual team leadership, and drive change/improvement in a matrix organization.
  • Beyond Connectivity Products: maintain a high-level understanding of Beyond Connectivity products and related technologies, including the create/sell/build/run model for enterprise customers and the structure of Group products and services.
  • Ability to understand complex financial and commercial scenarios and distill them into simple concepts.
  • Strong EQ/IQ balance to drive decisions, navigate challenging objectives, understand market nuances while promoting central strategies and best practices.
  • Expert understanding of financial processes and ability to interpret financial data and communicate clearly to Sales, Commercial & Product colleagues.
  • Ability to use an insight-led approach to analyse complex data and trends to highlight performance risks and opportunities (sales & revenue).
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to influence board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation with direct and indirect reports.
  • Language skills: English (fluent business).
  • Appropriate degree (or equivalent experience) in Telecommunications/IT Engineering or Business/Commercial area.
  • Experience in using data to gain underlying insight, evaluate trends, determine cause-effect relationships, and provide actionable insights across multiple teams (Commercial Planning, Finance, Sales, Product) within Group & in the markets.
