As a Head of Sales - Liquidity Management, you will help promote the products and services of SIX Exchanges to its UK and Irish clients, with a specific focus on liquidity optimization across all trading services. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives volume, liquidity, and long-term partnerships with advanced trading firms across asset classes with focus on Equities and ETFs. The candidate will have a good understanding of the competitive landscape in Equities and ETFs, market structures and the regulatory environment in which the Exchanges operate. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a strong network of market participants, and a thorough understanding of what drives proprietary volumes. This is an important role at the centre of a company that is an expanding part of the European marketplace. It offers not just the chance to work at the forefront of financial services across asset classes, but also the ability to help shape the services and offerings of a Pan-European exchange group.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales and Relationships - Lead the sales & relationship initiatives, targeting key decision makers at key clients for the SIX Exchange Group in the UK and Ireland, including both existing and potential new clients. The candidate will implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize liquidity provision, execution rates, revenue and performance.
  • Help Drive Innovation - Understand the products and services of SIX Exchange group, the competitive market landscape and the regulatory environments in which it operates to help shape forward strategy.
  • Discover New Opportunities - Produce client information and market statistics, interpreting the numbers to find interesting trends that will add value to clients and the Sales team.
  • Maintain Existing Relationships - Sell, promote and market products of SIX Exchange group and its subsidiaries, tailoring presentations to each member’s needs and managing the meetings.
  • Market Presence - Collect local market intelligence, whether during client meetings or at conferences, to ensure management and internal support teams are fully aware of market trends and developments.
  • Collaborate Across the Group - Work closely with the other SIX Exchange group departments to provide them with feedback on client needs, problems and trends.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working within an investment bank, exchange or similar related organisation, preferably within equity markets. This must include an understanding of low latency execution, preferably with knowledge of co-location services.
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills, someone who can interrogate data to identify interesting trends or potential client issues. Experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks would be beneficial as well as any experience with AI based analysis.
  • A demonstrable interest in sales with good interpersonal skills and a confident, professional manner.
  • Strong technical literacy—comfortable discussing market structure, latency, matching engines, and trading protocols.
  • Experience of client administration, servicing, the provision of information and problem resolution would be preferable.
  • A team player with an inquisitive mind, charisma, drive, self-motivation and business sense.
