Are you an ambitious, commercially minded sales professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role? Our client, a leading player in the technology and engineering sector, is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK and select international territories. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact within a forward-thinking, innovative business. This position is office-based with regular travel to meet customers, distributors, and partners, as well as attending key exhibitions and events worldwide. As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK and selected overseas markets
  • Building relationships with new and existing clients, distributors, and partners
  • Identifying new business opportunities and emerging markets
  • Recruiting and managing distribution partners in assigned territories
  • Producing accurate quotations and overseeing orders from start to finish
  • Conducting customer site visits and delivering tailored solutions
  • Representing the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
  • Providing regular sales forecasts, market insights, and competitor analysis to senior management
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Proven B2B sales experience (technology, engineering, or scientific sector preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to close deals
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
