Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a UK Sales Leader to drive strategic customer relationships and market penetration in the Altnet sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in technology sales with a proven track record in the UK Broadband market. Responsibilities include developing complex solutions, managing the sales cycle, and leading a remote team to achieve maximum revenue potential. Great presentation skills and C-Level relationships are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quota carrying value-based technology sales experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK Broadband market and Altnet market.
  • Referenceable C-Level relationships across the altnet market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer relationship and account strategy.
  • Develop complex solutions and execute Go To Market Strategy.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle to drive sales growth.

Skills

Cloud, Software, Systems and Services sales experience
Strong understanding of Broadband technologies

Job description

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.

The UK Sales Leader will own the customer relationship and account strategy, participate in developing complex solutions, establish competitive value and drive closure. Responsible for defining, creating and executing a successful Go To Market Strategy to penetrate the UK Altnet market and deliver maximum revenue potential for Calix Platforms. Leading a remote and virtual team to close new business and extend Calix position in existing accounts. Managing all stages of the sales cycle and orchestrating successful account and opportunity strategies leading to sales growth in the territory. Managing the customer relationships at all levels and leading the team in developing complex solutions, establishing competitive value, and driving closure.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of quota carrying value-based technology sales and market development experience with proven ability to grow new business
  • In-depth understanding of the UK Broadband market specifically the Altnet market with a proven record of successfully penetrating and winning in the Altnet space
  • Referenceable C-Level relationships across the altnet market in particular, CEO, CMO, CRO and CTO
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions with disruptive technology
Skills
  • Cloud, Software, Systems and Services sales experience
  • Bachelor or University Degree strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Broadband technologies and broadband go-to-market strategies
  • Comfortable and compelling both on the phone and in the boardroom
  • Excellent Presentation skills
  • In depth experience with MS365 and SFDC
