Job description

We're looking for a motivated, results-driven Sales Executive to join our brand Landscape Services. In this client-facing role, you'll be responsible for generating profitable revenue by securing new business and strengthening relationships with existing customers across Kent. If you're commercially minded, confident building relationships, and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of Landscape Services by securing high-value contracts and identifying opportunities within our existing client base. Your ability to build trust, understand client needs, and work closely with operational colleagues will ensure our services continue to make a real impact in schools, parishes, and commercial sites across Kent.

What you'll be doing
  • Visiting new and potential customers across Kent to develop strong, lasting relationships
  • Reviewing and visiting current customer sites to identify new opportunities and generate quotes
  • Preparing, presenting, and following up on quotes to secure orders
  • Prioritising customer visits based on revenue potential and business needs
  • Managing on-site queries and escalating to the Customer Experience team when required
  • Following up on web-generated and other incoming leads
  • Working alongside the Estimator for handovers and consistent client engagement
  • Supporting the Marketing team with new business contracts (approx. 20% of role)
  • Collaborating daily with the Operations team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Using digital follow-ups and calls to reduce unnecessary site visits
  • Attending training, meetings, and completing admin tasks (approx. 1.5-2 days per week)
  • Minimum 1.5 years' experience in a related industry sales role, or 3 years in a similar role within grounds maintenance or operational service provision
  • Proven ability to quote, follow up, and convert opportunities into profitable revenue
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's licence (essential)
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in grounds maintenance (desirable)
