A supply chain management firm is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and manage both new business development and existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales within engineering, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management tools. This role requires the ability to interpret technical specifications and a focus on growth in gasket parts and assembly work. Applicants with an HND in engineering and a network in the engineering sector are preferred.

Established for over 55 years, formerly known as Pillar Seals & Gaskets PSG, PSC Global is a specialist supply chain integrator, with a particular focus on products for specialist sealing solutions. In addition to the manufacture of gaskets and O ring seals in standard and exotic materials, PSC Global acts as an out-sourced service provider for the supply of gaskets, shims, polymers, plastic mouldings, conventionally and photo-chemically machined components, sub-assemblies and kits. Working with our customers we are able to reduce their vendor base as we deal with many of the worlds leading brands.
Supervisory Responsibility: No direct team members. Support & coaching wider team on technical matters.
Job Purpose: Providing technical direction and expertise, translating customer and business requirement, into viable solutions. This role will be a mix of new business development and existing account management.
To ensure the highest standards of integrity, reliability, availability, efficiency and security in all management and operational business systems of the company and to ensure that the appropriate levels of corporate governance are adhered to.
Identify the significant internal and external relationships which must be maintained for your job to be carried out effectively: Working largely unsupervised, with internal support as required. You will report to the Sales & Marketing Director and have significant interaction with the Operations Director. You must also respond promptly, courteously and cooperatively to enquiries from other PSC employees regarding any queries they may have. Engagement with sister company sales streams to enable cross selling, unlocking aerospace clients for our production capabilities.
