Job summary

A leading mattress retailer is seeking a confident Sales Associate to join their team at Westfield Shopping Centre in London. This part-time role, with a pay of £16.00 per hour plus commission, requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others find the perfect mattress. Ideal candidates will have experience in retail or sales, be approachable, and have strong communication abilities. Availability for at least 2 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, is required.

The Role

They're looking for a confident and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their friendly team at Westfield Shopping Centre. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, sharing product knowledge, and creating a welcoming in-store experience.

As part of the sales team, you'll:

  • Provide exceptional customer service - greeting every customer with a smile and genuine interest.
  • Offer expert advice on the range of mattresses and beds, helping customers find their perfect fit.
  • Confidently explain product features, benefits, and differences to support customers in making informed decisions.
  • Close sales with a consultative, customer-first approach.
  • Engage in light upselling - giving product suggestions/recommendations alongside their initial enquiry
  • Maintain a tidy, inviting showroom that reflects the brand's high standards.
About You

You're approachable, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoy helping people. You take pride in providing great service and are comfortable working towards sales goals without being pushy.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, engaging manner.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
  • Availability for at least 2 shifts per week, including weekends, evenings and holiday periods, as needed.
