A healthcare practice in Altrincham is seeking a salaried GP to join their team for three clinical sessions per week. The role requires managing up to 38 patient appointments across these sessions, handling administration, and conducting home visits as needed. Candidates should be on the GP Register and Performers List, have relevant primary care experience, and be comfortable with IT systems. This practice has a diverse clinical team and operates a hybrid appointment model.
West Timperley Medical Centreare looking for a salaried GP to join our well-established team for three clinical sessions per week.
The Practice has a largeclinical support team including GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Practice Nurses, StudentNursing Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists,Mental Health Nurse and Social Prescribers. We have a list size of over 9500patients, high QOF achievement and a 2022 CQC rating of Good.
We are looking for someone whocan work as part of a team as well as autonomously. Clinical interests anddevelopment will be welcomed.
The successful applicant will be responsible for 3 sessions per week. The Practice requires the post holder to work 1 session on Tuesday and then 2 sessions on Friday.
We are currently operating a hybrid model of working with both face to face and telephone appointments available to pre-book or book on the day.
We use clinical systems Emis Web, Docman, Accurx.
Your session will consist of patient contacts, administration/referrals and any home visits as well as the processing of test results, patient letters and prescription requests.
We are a partnership practice with 4 GP Partners with 2 Salaried GPs. The practice has a wide and varied clinical team including Nurses, Student Nurse Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, a Mental Health Nurse and Social Prescribers.
We offer a range of services at the Practice including minor surgery and contraceptive fittings.
We are a teaching practice and research active.
We have a CQC rating of "Good" (2022) and good QOF achievement.
The successful applicant will be responsible for 3 clinical sessions a week. These are to be worked on a Tuesday and Friday.
On Tuesday the session will consist of 13 appointments all of which are 15 minutes in length.
On Friday the two sessions combined will total 25 appointments, again all 15 minutes long.
It is expected that the candidate manages their own patient admin, referrals, letters on the day and will complete a share of test results and prescriptions which are shared amongst the working team.
We are a low visiting practice, however it is expected that on the days worked you are available for any home visits which are triaged and shared by the Duty Doctor.
