A local authority in Dorchester is seeking a Safeguarding Practice Manager to lead two safeguarding areas. This is an exciting time to be joining us in the Adult Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Practice Manager. This full-time role has become available due to the current post holder retiring and will involve managing two locality Safeguarding Hub areas of the County for the Team. We are a very supportive and nurturing team and have a very clear vision of embedding quality of practice in working to protect those adults at risk in our area. We very much work with the principles of 'Making Safeguarding Personal', placing the person at the centre of all we do and what outcomes they want to achieve, as part of our support. We work collaboratively with key partners and stakeholders, including Police, CQC and Health & Social Care. We offer regular professional supervision, hybrid and flexible working. You will be given opportunities to develop your practice and advance your career in a culture of trust and respect.
