What will you be tutoring?

Here’s an example role we have available at the moment!

  • Location: S63, within the student's home.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • End Date: Ongoing.
  • Hours: 10 hours per week.
  • Pay: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour.
  • The Role: English and Maths tuition for a Year 7 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3. Student’s SEN status is ADHD and ASD. Experience within this area is desired.
When and where will you be tutoring?
  • Within schools
  • Within public places
  • Within student's homes

At all of the above locations, there will always be an appropriate adult present for your tuition sessions. This will be the student’s parent, carer, or guardian, meaning you'll never be left alone with a student.

Our tuition takes place within school hours, 9am-4pm, and our clients are very flexible on timings. When a role becomes available, we’ll come to you as the tutor to set timings for when you’d like to take on the hours.

What qualifications do you need?

With our tuition roles, you do not need to be a qualified teacher. We usually ask that you have some form of higher education.

We’d also expect candidates to have some prior experience within education; at least 4 months working in a school or educational setting. This could be as a teacher, teaching assistant, or in a pastoral or support role.
