Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have relevant experience in an electrical engineering environment.
• Mechanical experience is advantageous.
• Capable of working independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake service and repair of the depot rolling stock.
• Maintain and repair the overhaul fleet locomotives.
• Ensure fleet is serviced in a cost-effective manner.
• Operate effectively as a member of a work team.

Skills

Strong understanding of electronic and electrical engineering

Technical proficiency in electrical and mechanical engineering

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Competency in IT skills

Problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain accurate records

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or equivalent
