Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so, at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Morrisons Gloucester in the GL1 1AH area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will involve working across a variety of categories including general merchandising such as books, gift cards, and cosmetics.

Confirmed working days/hours: 7 hours

Monday - 4.5 hours

Thursday - 2.5 hours

Plus adhoc work in the Gloucester area and as interested and agreed!

• Compliance and Standards: You'll know and stick to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance. You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to own your work within set time frames, using your initiative to find solutions
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
• Comfort with manual handling to move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items (paid extra)
• Confidence in using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
