Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied.
• An eye for detail and cleanliness.
• A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In-store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or oven canopies as required.
• Working outside to keep trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit a part time In Store Cleaner based in Sainsbury's Whitley Bay store on a permanent basis. 18 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

• Sunday: 04:00 to 08:00
• Monday: 04:00 to 07:00
• Tuesday: 04:00 to 07:00
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 04:00 to 07:00
• Friday: 04:00 to 07:00
• Saturday: 04:00 to 07:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus will support you through full training.
