Overview

We are looking for an experienced Retail Catering Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • liaise with the kitchen, open/close of business, stock controls, front of house and cafe ordering, and effectively be the face of our retail catering brand at a customer site
  • undertake any other duties that may be required for the effective operation of the site, including cash collection and banking
  • manage a team of retail catering operatives on a rota basis, and be available to work weekends and evenings where required
  • work at several different outlets onsite at Russells Hall Hospital and off site at our Corbett and Guest Hospitals as required
Qualifications
  • passionate about providing an excellent service to our customers
  • high standards and an eye for detail, hard working, energetic and confident
  • excellent organisational and time management skills
  • food hygiene and basic health and safety certificates are advantageous but not essential; full development and training will be provided
  • previous catering experience within a similar environment
  • supervisory experience and an appropriate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skill to perform role duties
  • able to work well in a team or under your own initiative, and flexible to take on different tasks as and when required
