About the role, what will I be doing?
  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor and uphold high service standards among the staff.
  • Assist guests with selecting menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menu items.
  • Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of orders.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Ensure that orders are prepared correctly according to The Game Bird’s standards.
  • Adhere to Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of workspace.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regular guests and handle feedback and complaints effectively.
  • Maintain communication with staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure that all service standards and protocols are consistently followed.
  • Promote a positive attitude and display the ability to ‘make things happen’ to achieve or exceed anticipated results and encourage the same in the team.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with compliance with Legal, Government and Company Policies relating to Fire, Health and Safety procedures.
  • Carry out any reasonable tasks requested by senior management.
