Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with HCPC registration or relevant nursing qualifications.
  • Significant clinical experience in respiratory care or relevant specialty.
  • Clinical knowledge in the management of COPD, Asthma, and related conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist patient-centred respiratory care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage patients with respiratory conditions including COPD and Asthma.
  • Support holistic assessment, care planning, and treatment delivery.

Skills

Clinical knowledge & skills in respiratory care
Demonstrates up to date knowledge in nursing/physiotherapy
Knowledge of NMC/HCPC guidelines
Awareness of community working and structures
Knowledge of COPD and asthma outcomes strategy

Education

Registered Nurse - Part 1,2,12 Or HCPC registered
First degree in nursing or demonstrable experience
Teaching/assessment programme
Diploma/degree in respiratory care or willing to complete
