Position: Home Manager - Residential Care Home - 35 bedded service

Location: Hertfordshire Area

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Registered Home Manager to take the lead in a well-established residential care service in the Hertfordshire area. The home provides long-term residential, dementia, respite, and day care for older people and those with complex needs, with a strong reputation for high-quality, person-centred care. The service was rated Good across all areas at its last CQC inspection and now requires a proven leader to maintain and further develop standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Leading, developing, and motivating a dedicated care team.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and internal policies.
  • Driving continuous improvement in care quality and service delivery.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
About You / Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Home Manager in residential or dementia care.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) required.
  • A strong and stable career history - no job hoppers.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving or maintaining good CQC outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
