A major healthcare provider in Manchester is looking for an experienced Research Grants Coordinator. In this vital role, you will coordinate and facilitate grant applications, supporting researchers with funding proposals. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in grant writing. This role offers a fixed term of 12 months with a competitive salary of £38,682 to £46,580 per year, reflecting the importance of your contributions to healthcare research.

We are looking for an experienced research coordinator to co-ordinate funding applications from researchers across Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading researchers in a diverse and innovative area and be a key part of extremely committed, highly motivated and busy research teams across MFT.
The post holder will facilitate grant applications by conducting searches and scoping work on future funding calls and attending funding specific webinars to understand the remit of the funding call, co-ordination of the application team/co-applicants, conducting meetings and communication between research groups and partner organisations (especially the University of Manchester). It will also include the management of online grant writing and submission, liaising with finance and research managers at the Trust, University and NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network as required.
The post will be managed by the Research Business Manager and will support grant applications submitted with authorisation via Senior Research Operational Managers, however the person suitable for the post will be able to demonstrate initiative and have experience in working autonomously and also have demonstrable experience coordinating complex or large scale projects.
The purpose of this post is to coordinate and facilitate research grant applications from MFT, working with researchers across the whole Trust. This will involve coordination of the application team, supporting the completion of the application with particularly responsibility for the collation of appropriate costings, and ensuring appropriate institutional authorisations and signatures.
