A leading housing provider is seeking a Finance Analyst for a fully remote 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves producing transactional-level analysis, assisting with financial results, and providing variance analysis to guide decision-making. Ideal candidates will have experience in service charge accounting and knowledge of housing legislation. Qualifications

  • Experience in service charge accounting within a social housing environment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and Housing Association systems (advantageous).
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Produce transactional-level analysis and reporting for finance business partners.
  • Assist with management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
  • Provide variance analysis for decision-making.
  • Lead accounting for surpluses and deficits on service charges.
  • Support stakeholders with service charge recoverability and leaseholder accounts.
  • Deliver comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Contribute to finance projects and process reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
