A local primary school is seeking a Relief Supervisory Assistant to supervise and engage children during lunchtime. This role requires a proactive individual who can encourage play and good behaviour amongst pupils. Although experience is preferred, training will be provided. An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for applicants. This position is term time only.

Relief Supervisory Assistant - Pencoed Primary

Job description: As and When needed. Term Time.

Pencoed Primary School is seeking to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period, between 12:00 and 13:00, as and when required, term time only.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children in all areas of the school.
• Supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience of working with children would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
• Ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils.
• Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
• An Enhanced DBS check (including a check against the Children's Barred List) is a requirement for this post.
