We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals with strong values and a genuine interest in caring for and supporting Older People. Candidates should have experience in care within a complex yet rewarding environment.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our 8 residential care homes and will undertake the keyworker role. This involves creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, maintaining accurate records of support planning, and ensuring service users are offered appropriate opportunities, experiences, and support according to their care plans. The role also includes promoting access to local community opportunities and helping service users live meaningful lives.

We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older adults, including services at care homes, respite, STAR units, and day services.

The Person

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care.
  • Be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
  • Possess or be working towards the required qualification SVQ 3, as mandated by the Scottish Social Services Council. It is the candidate's responsibility to inform the Scottish Social Services Council once the qualification is achieved.
