Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to support clients with complex injuries and health conditions to optimise their recovery and reach their rehabilitation and return to work goals. Working within a commercial (personal injury and medical negligence) context, this field‑based role involves navigating clients through their personal rehabilitation journey by:

Responsibilities
  • Conducting in‑person and virtual assessments to determine clients' physical, psychological and social needs on an ongoing basis
  • Devising and coordinating goal‑focused rehabilitation programmes, which includes a combination of both private and statutory services
  • Coordinating private treatment, e.g. physiotherapy, psychology, investigations or surgery
  • Collaborating with family members and other inter‑disciplinary professionals
  • Communicating regularly with external stakeholders, e.g. solicitors, insurers and employers
  • Writing comprehensive reports for the instructing parties to provide updates, demonstrate progress and seek funding approval
  • Facilitating return to work and/or education, Social Events & Team Building: Forge strong relationships with colleagues through an array of virtual and in‑person social events such as biannual hub days, ad hoc team‑building events, and our annual company conference featuring our PrOscars Award Ceremony

Skills & Experience

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Physiotherapy
  • Active registration with the HCPC or NMC

  • We are looking for a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, or NMC registered Nurse with a proven clinical background in one or more of the following specialisms: Complex orthopaedic conditions, Brain injury, Spinal cord injury, Amputations, Paediatrics
  • Rehabilitation case management experience is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
  • Case managers work from home but regional travel to meet with clients, treatment providers and employers is a large part of the role. A valid driving licence is essential
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills with a solutions‑focused approach
  • Effective communication, report‑writing style and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence with utilising IT software packages
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
