A prominent regional NHS trust in Ipswich is looking for a motivated individual to support coronary angiography and cardiac device delivery. Candidates should have experience or a strong interest in catheterization and patient care. This role involves on-call responsibilities, assisting doctors during procedures, and maintaining patient safety at all times. Join our dedicated team to make a real difference in patient care in a supportive environment that offers professional development and competitive benefits.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced, dynamic, motivated and innovative individual, who has keen interest in an area that supports the delivery of coronary angiography, rotablation, stenting & cardiac implantable devices.
The Ipswich Heart Centre has 2 catheterisation laboratories and 12 recovery beds. Previous cardiac or cath lab experience is desirable but not essential. We offer training and have competencies in place to enable the successful applicant to rotate between our 12 bedded recovery area and Cath labs.
A visit to the department prior to the interview is strongly encouraged, so we can offer discussion of the post and an opportunity to observe the type of work performed by staff.
Hours of work are currently between Monday to Friday, and between the hours of 7am to 8pm, with a requirement to provide on-call cover. Shift patterns vary to meet the demands of the PCI service which is working towards delivering a 24/7 service.
