Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary/agency basis to provide high-quality care in a care home setting. You will work flexibly across shifts, ensuring residents receive exceptional nursing care while promoting dignity, respect, and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide person-centered nursing care to elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Administer Medication and Treatments: Follow best practice and NMC guidelines for safe medication administration and nursing interventions.
  • Monitor and Assess Residents: Conduct regular assessments, update care plans, and respond to changes in residents conditions promptly.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work effectively with care staff, families, GPs, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided, medication administered, and incidents in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Safeguarding and Safety: Uphold safeguarding procedures and ensure a safe environment for all residents and staff.
  • Mentor and Support Staff: Provide guidance and support to care assistants and new team members as required.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualifications: Active NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a care home, nursing home, or similar setting is preferred.
  • Experience with elderly or dementia care is highly desirable.
