Main duties of the job
  • As a Registered Nurse at HC-One, you will work in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision-making and collaborative skills.
  • You will support Residents during vulnerable times and guide them in life-changing decisions.
  • You will be a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months’ experience in Health or Social Care, hold a valid PIN, and adhere to the NMC standards of practice.
  • You will mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and provide support as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • You will understand the importance of effective communication, both verbally and in writing, and model professional behaviours.

About You

You will mentor colleagues and support students as a practice supervisor and assessor. You will communicate effectively and role model professional behaviours. You will advocate a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and may undertake additional training.
