Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/RNLD) - Acute
Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in Annesley on a full-time basis. Salary for this permanent role is £34,900 - £40,455 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Deliver Individualised Care: provide tailored care to a specific group of patients based on their individual needs.
- Assess and Plan Care: work with patients and their families to assess, plan, and deliver care, acting as the named nurse; regularly review and update care plans.
- Collaborate with Care Team: contribute to a team approach in patient care, coordinating with all care team members.
- Communicate with Professionals: build effective relationships and communicate with external professionals and stakeholders.
- Engage with Patients: observe and engage with patients to assess needs and evaluate progress.
- Quality Improvement and Governance: participate in quality improvement processes and adhere to clinical governance standards.
- Provide Accessible Information: share clear, accessible information about care with patients and their families.
- Delegate and Coordinate: prioritise and delegate nursing duties, manage shifts, and ensure a safe environment.
- Accurate Documentation: maintain accurate records, including daily notes and incident reports.
- Escalate Concerns: timely escalation of concerns about patient well-being, incidents, or staffing issues.
- Professional Development: commit to ongoing professional development and meet revalidation requirements.
- Support and Induct Staff: assist new, junior, and agency staff with induction and support them in delivering high standards of care.
- Complete Mandatory Training: complete all mandatory training and competency assessments within required timeframes.
- Maintain Professional Relationships: build and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors; address requests and concerns promptly.
- Participate in Supervision: engage in monthly clinical supervision and reflective practice.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Nursing Registration: must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with an active NMC PIN registration.
- Motivation for PICU Service: strong desire to work within a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Readiness for New Challenges: motivated, adaptable, and eager to embrace new challenges.
