Overview

Regional Clinical Development Nurse - RMN - Hospitals

Location: Mix of remote work and travel to Hospitals in Hull, Stockport, Billingham, Mansfield and Waltham Abbey

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £55,000 to £60,000 plus £6500 car allowance

The Role

As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse, you’ll lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and the quality of care across six Mental Health Hospitals in England.

  • Supporting hospital performance and ensuring the highest clinical standards
  • Reviewing monthly clinical governance KPIs and identifying practical improvement strategies
  • Working with Managing Directors, senior clinical staff, and improvement specialists to implement action plans
  • Organising training, supporting recruitment of senior clinical staff, and leading clinical investigations
  • Travelling regularly between sites to provide hands-on leadership and guidance
Essential Criteria
  • Current NMC registration (RMN)
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Experience working in a Mental Health Hospital environment
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical and results-driven, with the ability to implement action plans effectively
  • Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
