Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hourly Rate: £12.21

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Recycling Operative to join our client in Rochdale. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about recycling and sustainability in a manufacturing setting. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in sorting and processing recyclable materials, operating key machinery, and ensuring smooth recycling operations.

Responsibilities

• Cutting up tubes and other recyclable materials
• Operating the baling machine to compact materials.
• Ensuring all waste is processed efficiently and safely.
• Maintaining a clean and organised recycling area.
• Operating stacker trucks and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements

• Valid stacker truck and counterbalance forklift licenses.
• Experience with operating a baling machine (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
