Job Opportunity: Recycling Operative (Monday to Friday)

Are you hardworking and reliable? Join our client's team as a Recycling Operative!

As part of the Metal Waste Dept your main role will be quality control on our picking line, this is a manual role that requires removing non-conforming materials from the material on the line. Operatives work as part of a team of 4 in a picking station. When the plant is off other duties that may be required. This role can lead to further training and/or a permanent placement:

As part of our Hazardous waste Dept your main role will be the bulking and sorting of material arriving at our facility, all materials are initially checked by our team and instructions will be given to you by the site chemist, this is a manual role that typically dealing with the non-hazardous materials in the dept. Operatives work as part of a team. When the dept is quiet other duties that may be required. This role can lead to further training and/or a permanent placement:

Location: Chesterfield

Hours: 06.30 to 16.30 Waste Department and the Hazard Department 07.30 to 16.30

Key Responsibilities
  • Sorting and processing recyclable materials (scrap metals or minor hazardous items)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Assisting with loading and unloading materials
  • House-keeping duties
Requirements
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday

  • Previous experience in recycling or waste management is a plus, but not essential
