Job description

We believe in caring for our own people first before we can care for others. That's why we're looking for a caring, bubbly, passionate person to help grow the Bluebird Care Oxfordshire business.

Your Opportunity

As a Recruitment Manager, you will be a key part in finding and retaining the right people to support our customers in their own homes. We're expanding across Oxfordshire, so you must be prepared to work at a fast pace while upholding our values and culture.

Working both in the field and at our offices in Wallingford, Oxford, and Witney, you will support recruitment and marketing efforts across the region, collaborating with each office team and the management to meet staffing needs and attract passionate care professionals.

You will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement a business marketing and recruitment plan, including campaign management and increasing awareness of the company to grow opportunities.

We expect you to be self-motivated, energetic, and proactive in all aspects of people management, including recruitment and staff retention.

Experience in the care sector, understanding operational excellence, and knowing what makes a great Care Assistant are essential for this role.

  • Draft PR, business development, and event plans quarterly and annually.
  • Identify advertising and partnership opportunities, distributing marketing materials to key community stakeholders.
  • Establish relationships with local media to enhance the company's profile.
  • Organize feedback and PR events, including care-themed initiatives, summer programs, forums, and charitable activities.
  • Build relationships with local charities, GPs, hospital discharge teams, and other healthcare providers to promote the Bluebird brand and services.
