Job description

We are currently recruiting to a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 2 Reception / Admin Assistant to join our Integrated Sexual Health team. This position offers 37.5 hrs per week, reception cover is required across the main hub; Wilberforce Health Centre and the Hull and East Riding area, working flexibly to ensure all shifts are covered. The successful candidate will support the reception and administrative duties, playing a vital role in the smooth operation of the service.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include supporting the day to day function reception desk, prioritising tasks, as well as ensuring that all processes and deadlines are met efficiently. Attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work are essential. We are seeking an applicant who is well-organised, possesses good interpersonal skills, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of team. Good communication and confidentiality awareness are crucial, as the role regularly involves dealing with sensitive information. Good knowledge of software programs including Microsoft and adaptability to learn patient record systems are also required. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with data protection guidelines. Good organisational and computer skills are essential.
