Qualifications

  • Experience in Electrical Substations is essential.
  • Understand maintenance principles and safety regulations in light rail.
  • Practical experience interpreting technical drawings is required.
  • Coordinating operational readiness activities including static testing is crucial.
  • Need to hold Authorised Person (AP) qualification.
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are preferred.
  • Familiar with asset management systems is a must.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety File under CDM regulations is important.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discipline representative on new assets for the network extension.
  • Conduct static infrastructure checks and tests for readiness.
  • Verify asset installation against specifications.
  • Coordination of operational and maintenance staff training.
  • Create and update maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate on Health & Safety File data.
  • Support asset management system registrations.
  • Engage in joint inspections to sign off assets.
