This role involves organizing and executing projects that align with marketing and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in food science, engineering, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. We are recruiting for a product developer, within the RDQ function. The role specifically is within the productivity team working on projects for our European region. The team has a broad scope, focusing on portfolio maintenance and productivity led initiatives. From brainstorming for new ideas, to project scoping, and project execution the role is varied and exciting. You will work cross functionally to deliver projects with technical rigour and understanding, while also ensuring we meet business needs, and most importantly the consumer needs.
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf‑life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer‑led specifications.
