We are recruiting for a product developer, within the RDQ function. The role specifically is within the productivity team working on projects for our European region. The team has a broad scope, focusing on portfolio maintenance and productivity led initiatives. From brainstorming for new ideas, to project scoping, and project execution the role is varied and exciting. You will work cross functionally to deliver projects with technical rigour and understanding, while also ensuring we meet business needs, and most importantly the consumer needs.

How you will contribute

With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf‑life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer‑led specifications.

Experience & Knowledge
  • A food science, science, or engineering qualification at University level / degree
  • Food science, science, or engineering experience (2+ years) ideally in a fast‑moving consumer goods market
  • Working with cross functional teams and independently with the guidance of a manager
  • Prioritizing and managing activities independently
  • Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently
  • Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing
  • Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities
  • Experience of working in the food industry, specific experience of confectionery and/or chocolate would be an additional advantage
Education / Certifications
  • University Degree in food science, science, or engineering qualification
  • Food science, science, or engineering experience (2+ years) ideally in a fast‑moving consumer goods marketli>
  • English language skills. Speaking Polish is not mandatory.
