Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Discipline: Highways

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 + Benefits, depending on experience

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with Highways industry experience to join our business. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised QS to work as an ambassador to the business within our client’s organisations. The successful candidate will work as part of our Highways division providing commercial support to our clients on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities will include:
  1. Multiple scheme commercial management
  2. Subcontractor management
  3. Mentoring of junior staff
  4. NEC Contract experience
  5. Change Management
  6. Budget Forecasting
  7. Pre & post tender contractual works
  8. Monthly valuations
  9. Undertake Material & Plant reconciliations
  10. Administration of Drawing Revisions & Site Records
  11. Support the production of monthly CVR
  12. Understanding of cash management
  13. Communication with Site Team
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
  1. Experience working in the Highway sector
  2. NEC Experience
  3. Must be computer literate
  4. Full Driving Licence
  5. Confident dealing with our stakeholders and our clients' stakeholders
  6. Positive attitude towards growth, development and training within our business
