A leading aerospace precision engineering firm in Pinxton is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector. Qualifications

  • Experienced Quality Inspector with a background in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Hands-on experience with digital and manual measuring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Complete dimensional inspections of high-value components.
  • Produce detailed inspection reports per customer requirements.
  • Support non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.

Skills

Experience in aerospace precision engineering
Proficiency in Faro Arm equipment
Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO9001)
Ability to read engineering drawings

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting aerospace precision engineering company in Pinxton to recruit for a Quality Inspector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team where quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.

The Successful Quality Inspector - Package:

  • £16.00 £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday Thursday: 8:00am 16:30pm & Friday: 8:00am 13:30pm

  • Permanent, full-time position

  • Stable role within an established aerospace supplier with opportunities for progression

The Successful Quality Inspector - Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in aerospace precision engineering. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using Faro Arm measuring equipment, with the ability to complete accurate dimensional inspections of complex, high-value components.

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace standards including AS9100 and ISO9001.

  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.

  • Experience carrying out FAIRs, ISIRs, and detailed inspection reports to customer requirements.

  • A proactive approach to non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause/corrective actions.

  • Hands-on experience with a range of manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM experience advantageous).

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tolerances in a high-spec aerospace environment.
