Overview

AEPartners are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector for their client in Gateshead on a contract to permanent basis.

Requirements

• We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in fabrication and general manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring:
• Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using Faro Arm measuring equipment, with the ability to complete accurate dimensional inspections of complex, high-value components.
• Strong knowledge of standards including ISO9001.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience carrying out inspection reports to customer requirements.
• A proactive approach to non-conformance reporting and supporting root cause/corrective actions.
• Hands-on experience with a range of manual and digital measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges; CMM experience advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail.
