Purpose of the Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented and eager to start a career in QA/testing, with a chance to be part of a fast-growing digital entertainment business.

Your primary purpose will be to manually test new features, updates, and games across our platforms to ensure they function correctly, meet regulatory requirements, and provide the seamless experience our players expect.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer
  • Execute manual testing on new features, game releases, and platform updates
  • Identify, log, and track software bugs and inconsistencies
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure issues are resolved before release
  • Carry out regression testing to confirm existing functionality continues to work after changes
  • Test across different browsers, devices, and operating systems for compatibility
  • Follow test plans, but also use exploratory testing methods to spot issues
  • Contribute to documentation of testing processes and results
  • Provide feedback to improve usability and the overall player experience
Key Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent attention to detail – able to spot inconsistencies and errors within the app/website
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical, logical approach
  • Good communication skills – able to report issues clearly and confidently
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
  • Passionate about sports, gaming and digital platforms
  • Eager to learn and develop within Quality Assurance – ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to enter the gaming/tech sector
  • Any exposure to testing, IT, or computer science (through degree, or personal projects) is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided
