Are you a passionate educator with a heart for inclusion and a drive to empower every child to succeed?

We’re looking for a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf (QTOD) to join our dedicated team at Ashwood Park Primary School, part of Dudley’s Local Authority Enhanced Provision. This is a unique opportunity to support and champion primary‑aged pupils with severe to profound D/deafness in a nurturing, inclusive mainstream setting.

You will:
  • Deliver tailored one‑to‑one and small group sessions focused on language development, listening skills, and curriculum access
  • Collaborate with families to personalise communication approaches — whether oral, SSE, or BSL
  • Partner with NHS audiology teams, the Cochlear Implant Centre, and families to optimise listening experiences using the latest hearing technologies
  • Champion each child’s academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social inclusion
Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a forward‑thinking, inclusive, and supportive school community
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of D/deaf education in Dudley
  • Experience the joy of making a genuine difference in children’s lives — every single day
