Senior Associate Commercial Dispute Resolution

Salary: up to 90,000
Hours: Full Time
Location: Cardiff, ideally 2 days in the office a week.

We are seeking an experienced solicitor to join a leading global law firm with a strong focus on commercial disputes, including public procurement and PPP matters. The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile cases across multiple sectors and the opportunity to work closely with senior legal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of disputes across sectors such as transport, infrastructure, education, healthcare, energy, and technology.
  • Provide legal support on public procurement and PPP matters, assisting clients with complex disputes and challenges.
  • Support judicial review and other litigation proceedings, ensuring compliance with legal timelines.
  • Draft and review procurement documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key contact for clients, providing tailored legal advice and guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop legal strategies for complex matters.
  • Engage with clients across sectors to deliver practical and effective solutions.
Experience Required
  • 5-7 years post-qualification (England & Wales) in complex litigation, ideally with a focus on public procurement.
  • Experience handling complex, high-value litigation matters.
  • Experience managing procurement disputes, including judicial reviews, contract challenges, and alternative dispute resolution across multiple sectors.
