Overview

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is hiring a Public Health Information Analyst on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The expected duration is 12 months, with potential periodic reviews with the post holder. Secondment opportunities may be considered for internal employees with prior approval from the current line manager in line with the council’s secondment policy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide regular, robust and effective information and intelligence derived from national and local data sources including local contracts.
  • Enable Public Health to understand local need, plan, monitor and support local services to deliver a high quality service.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Highly numerate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex Public Health intelligence to a wide range of audiences in accessible, meaningful and appropriate formats.
