Role Overview

As a Senior Personal Banker aligned to one of our branches, you’ll build great relationships with customers and proactively promote the benefits of our growing digital services to simplify and enhance their banking experience. The role offers variety, with no two days the same, and includes support to achieve the Professional Bankers Certificate through a full training and development programme. Note: This role does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively support customers to realize full benefits of our service through digital channels and help with complex financial needs such as home buying and protection.
  • Deliver a banking service that exceeds expectations, ensuring variety every day.
  • Support customers via video banking from home or in‑branch, conduct financial health checks and review accounts.
  • Identify suitable products and services, including mortgages, private banking, business banking and protection.
  • Complete outbound care calls to grow and maintain relationships.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a customer service environment, thriving under pressure and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to coach the branch team to acquire, grow and retain quality customer relationships via regular customer care calls.
  • Build rapport and trust in face‑to‑face and virtual settings, providing appropriate options.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning and organisational skills.

Working Pattern
