Overview

Act as the strategic link between council services occupying property and the property department by taking a lead role in advising on all aspects of property asset management. To maximise property performance through rationalisation, cost reduction and compliance with relevant property legislation while facilitating / maintaining service delivery in the most cost effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic link between council services occupying property and the property department, taking a lead role in advising on all aspects of property asset management.
• Maximise property performance through rationalisation, cost reduction and compliance with relevant property legislation while facilitating / maintaining service delivery in the most cost effective manner.
• Work with the Asset Strategy Manager and strategic leads in services to develop service asset management plans.
• Ensure that information, requirements and solutions for property assets and services are considered in a corporate context by translating strategic objectives into property solutions.
• This role requires on site visits.
