Job Title: Projects Manager (Small-Scale Projects)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Projects Manager to support the delivery of small-scale construction projects across multiple sites. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires close collaboration with Site Managers and cross-functional teams, including commercial, design, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management, commercial, and design teams to effectively plan and mobilise projects.
  • Review and agree on project requirements, specifications, and Health & Safety proposals.
  • Coordinate and support Site Managers across various small-scale project sites.
  • Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Assist Site Managers in day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor oversight.
  • Lead subcontractor performance meetings, programme reviews, and look-ahead planning sessions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor and report on project performance against KPIs and milestones.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate appropriately to senior management.
  • Support seamless project handovers, ensuring snag-free and defect-free completions.
  • Champion continuous improvement and share best practices across teams.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by the business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Ability to adapt to change and problem-solve under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Project is a plus
  • Proven track record in project or contract management, particularly within construction
  • Relevant CSR/CSCS card is essential
