Project Services Co‑Ordinator – Glasgow HQ / Hybrid – 6‑month temporary
Overview
The Project Services Co‑Ordinator delivers a high‑quality, consistent service across onshore development projects within Scottish Power Renewables (SPR). The role supports all onshore projects in the development phase, ensuring accurate reporting, risk management and process improvement.
Accountabilities
- Deliver project support services to meet team requirements.
- Report and forecast accurately, keeping senior management informed of project status.
- Capture, control and report changes to projects.
- Capture, control and report project finances.
- Identify, analyse and manage risks and issues.
- Escalate programme or process issues to senior management.
- Ensure service delivery follows SPR business processes.
- Analyse reporting activities across the Onshore Development team.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to team processes when required.
- Develop quality assurance procedures.

- Act on ad‑hoc project requirements at short notice without losing focus on regular workload.
- Maintain focus on key deliverables while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Critically review existing processes and assess improvement opportunities.

Judgement & Decisions
- Advise project managers on risks, issues and solution viability.
- Document recommendations and ensure due diligence supports decisions.
- Defend recommendations while recognising alternative solutions.
- Present decisions to the Project Services Manager in a structured, robust manner.
- Review project services processes and documentation regularly, implementing improvements.
Minimum Criteria
Essential
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Preferred training/qualification in project management.
- Project‑based experience within the selected discipline and/or direct project environment experience.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience supporting multiple projects.
Desirable
- Degree qualification preferred; minimum qualification to HND level.
- Comfortable dealing with and presenting to management.
