We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business, supporting our clients in delivering a range of water projects and programmes across our Central South region.

Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, this role will suit Project Managers from a civil engineering background, ideally with previous water sector experience. NEC accreditation is also preferred.

At Turner & Townsend, Project Managers handle commissions of varying sizes, depending on the project's complexity. Typically, projects range from £1m to £10m. When supporting, the project size may be larger.

Responsibilities

1. Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
2. Support on major Project Management Commissions, focusing on specific aspects of service delivery.
3. Ensure client objectives are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications and Key Performance Indicators

Project Managers will be evaluated based on:

• Managing projects to quality standards, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
• Meeting client objectives and adhering to the conditions of appointment.
• Leading the project team effectively.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Discharging general line management responsibilities effectively.
• Identifying and acting upon business development opportunities.
• Monitoring the internal financial status of projects.
• Effectively communicating key information and data.

Qualifications

• NEC (3/4) accreditation preferred.
• Chartered/qualified status with ICE, APM, RICS, etc., is advantageous.
• Degree in a construction-related subject is desirable.
