Job Title: Project Manager - Water / Utilities Sector

Location: Tamworth (3-4 days onsite per week)

Employment Type: Contract (Inside IR35) or Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team and lead critical initiatives within the water and utilities sector. This role will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, working closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution through to delivery and handover, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Manage resources effectively to maximise productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and governance processes.
  • Foster a collaborative and solution-focused environment within the project team.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a Project Manager in the water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
